Transforming this garden bench into a work of art was a really fun project. This is one of my favorite style of flowers to create. It was pretty simple and there are endless color combinations you can do, but I love the way this one turned out.
I loved them so much I had a hard time parting with them. They sold quickly!

Stenciled Flower
After painting the back round color of the flower I covered it with clear contact paper and cut out the shape of the flower so I didn't have to worry about stenciling outside the lines. I did a two toned stencil effect by slightly shifting the stencil and using a different color on top of the first stenciled color.
Remove the contact paper and you can see the lines are pretty smooth, but not perfect. So I Outlined the flower with a slightly darker shade of pink and green for a more finished look.
Give the whole thing a light sanding for a more rustic finish.
