Stenciled Flower

This was a fun flower painting project with the help of stencils.
After painting the back round color of the flower I covered it with clear contact paper and cut out the shape of the flower so I didn't have to worry about stenciling outside the lines. I did a two toned stencil effect by slightly shifting the stencil and using a different color on top of the first stenciled color.
Remove the contact paper and you can see the lines are pretty smooth, but not perfect. So I Outlined the flower with a slightly darker shade of pink and green for a more finished look.
Give the whole thing a light sanding for a more rustic finish.
This is the finished product, although I'm still working on something more interesting looking for the center of the flower.
